Frequently Asked Questions

ABOUT MY DICE

What are your dice made of?
My dice are made with 2 part epoxy resin

Where did you get your molds?
I make my own molds from masters I designed and printed myself. However, I have big plans upcoming to start selling molds!

Can I request to see you make a certain style I saw by another creator?
If I ever use another creator’s work as inspiration for a set I will always credit them. However, I will not make a direct copy of another artist’s work. If you fall in love with a set from another maker, I recommend purchasing it from the original creator.

HOW TO BUY

Where can I buy your dice?
You can purchase my dice right here on my website under the “shop” tab. If no sets are available I am currently in the process of working on more sets. In addition to my website, I will periodically host giveaways on my TikTok or Instagram.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, a list of countries I can ship to. I have a flat rate of $5 for domestic shipping and $15 for shipping outside of the united states. International shipping will come with additional insurance. I utilize export shipping through Pirate Ship, this might cause a little bit of a delay but helps save on cost. Shipping will include tracking as well as additional insurance. However, the buyer is responsible for any VAT, customs, or duty fees levied by the destination country.

Do you do commissions?
I will periodically take commissions which I will announce on my social media, but the slots are limited to 5 at a time.

HOW TO MAKE DICE

Can you teach me how to make dice?
I have several videos on my process and lots of tips and tricks on my TikTok account.

What supplies do you use?
I have an amazon list put together of my most frequently used items. You can find it HERE.

I want to make dice. Where do I start?
Obviously, your first step is to make sure you are following me on social media, but in addition to that, I recommend The Great Library of Dicecraft group on Facebook.

BALANCE

Are your dice balanced?
The only fully “balanced” dice are dice made for casinos in hermetically sealed chambers to stop any air from getting into them. Even then those dice are swapped out every 20 minutes. Resin pigments, glitter, foil, flowers, and other small light inclusions will have such a minuscule impact on the weight of the die that it will not affect the randomness of your rolls. Larger inclusions are made with resin (unless otherwise stated) to match the density of the die and will have no impact on your rolls.

I saw a video on YouTube that you can test your dice in saltwater? Do you test your dice?
No. Not only do I not have time to test all of my dice, but this test is also wildly inaccurate and doesn’t take into account the effect of the sides and the surface you are rolling on. Even “unbalanced” dice will still give you random results.

My DM won’t allow handmade dice unless I can prove they are balanced. Is there a way to do that?
Your DM sounds real fun. My advice would be to get a new DM.
